We are Maja Ajdin and Sean Egan
- proud immigrants from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Dublin, Ireland.
Our journey of uncovering our own histories ignited a passion: helping others reconnect with their heritage and walk in the footsteps of their ancestors.
What began as a personal quest quickly evolved into a mission - to bridge the gap between past and present, bringing family stories to life in a way that feels personal, meaningful, and deeply connected. Through meticulous research, travel, and storytelling, we’ve learned that heritage is more than just names on a family tree - it’s a tapestry of journeys, struggles, and hopes that have shaped who we are today.
Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of working in the Italian tourism industry, guiding numerous travelers from the USA - many of whom were Italian descendants eager to reconnect with their roots. Through them, we discovered not only their deep desire to reconnect with their roots but also the challenges they face - tracing family history, navigating remote Italian towns, and overcoming language barriers without local support.
Understanding both the logistical complexities and the deep emotional significance of such a journey, we dedicated ourselves to helping others experience something truly unique and meaningful - creating lifelong memories through a deeply personal connection to their heritage.
Together with our incredible team, we carefully design, plan, and bring to life tailor-made itineraries that offer immersive and enriching experiences while tracing your family footsteps.
What unites us is a shared understanding of what it means to leave our homes and start our lives in a foreign land. But beyond that, we deeply believe in the power of reconnecting the past with the present - filling in the missing pieces to create a more complete family story.
